Our old pals at the legendary INDICA RECORDS have invited us to play their showcase night at the M for Montréal festival. We'll be sharing the stage with Ska Sound System and Bad Situation at Le Ministère on November 21, 2025.
The puddy magic pin
Due to popular demand, The Puddy Magic Pin that is currently available at all our live shows is now in the store and shipping will start soon-ish. For those who missed our fabulous QVC style explainer - the Magic Pin is a futuristic AF glow-in-the-dark rock n' roll pin cobbled using the most bleeding-edge DIY tech. After some digging, this looks like a straight-up PUDDY invention. Get in on the ground floor with us before the biters pile on and wreck it all.

We managed to nail down some pretty decent multi-cam footage and sounds from the Timmins set. In the end, we pulled 5 songs out of the fire and they're all cut and ready to drop! Thanks again to our old friend Ken Harrison for coming out and capturing some great angles. They brought our scrappy little setup over the top. The first offering available to everyone is a pretty crushing performance of “Bourbon for the By-Law Officer”

It's called “MISSES 1998-2025” The product has been lovingly stitched together for email subscribers only. 12 tracks, newly remastered by Tim - including 4 unreleased songs and 2 alternate edits that never made it to daylight. Also included is a hi-res “GO PRINT YOURSELF” 3-panel CD art package (print it, frame it, wallpaper your van with it). Plenty of juicy, B-list Cancon celebrity stories and a super cool 32-year Puddy timeline. Half the fun is in the liner notes… Probably the most exciting spreadsheet you've ever seen.

It’s finally here! The Bourbon For the Border (By-Law) Officer video HAS DROPPED and… SURPRISE!! the NUMBERS ARE FUCKING TERRIBLE! If you’ve been paying attention, you may recognize this as the same shoot where Eric took a drumstick to the face.
The sad reality is each and every algo is now actively working against indie. Our one-off viral injury video has likely amassed a stream count of many ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE above what the official music video could ever hope to pull. That said, it's another banger and it was a ton of work so PLEASE STREAM IT & SHARE IT GUYS!!

Just a quick reminder to those who have kindly purchased a physical copy of DEMAGOGO - the living bonus content page went live earlier in February. In case you did buy the record and missed it, at the beginning of February, demo versions of “What Do You Want” and “Under Your Tongue” along with a Puddified Fugazi cover of “5 Corporations” made their way up to the page. FEBRUARY RADIO APPEARANCES ICYMI
February saw us saying words on the airwaves. Big huge special thanks again to Pure Rock Fury with the one and only Paul Cash - throughout February, the show features Paolo on the “In Their Own Words” segment, breaking down each song on DEMGAGOGO. The segments are pretty hilarious. Paolo, in the throes of an allergy attack, rocks a distinct Eugene Levy timbre. Probably the most Canadian sounding thing you'll hear this week.

In the 1h30 interview(!!) we cover a ton of ground from politics to ticket prices to Daniel Ek… We somehow zigged and zagged our way out of really talking about the record in any great detail. Tons of laughs.

In a surprise twist, cassettes and 8Tracks were a lot more popular than anticipated and are now in critically low supply. Remember, a free digital download of the record is included with every purchase!
SUPER SECRET BONUS CONTENT!
For those who have already purchased physical copies of the album, a bonus track page has now been set up (only accessible through the QRs on the insert). This will be a “living page” and will grow over time. The page will eventually include demo versions of some of the tracks as well as fully produced songs that were part of the Demagogo sessions but don't appear on the album.
If you have the record, be sure to check the page once in a while for new songs! These songs WILL NOT GO TO STREAMING - and the link to access this stuff will only be accessible through the insert included with the physical copies. We've been up there quite a bit in the last year so this will be the last trip up for what will likely be a long stretch (not ‘20 years long’ but not 6 months either). Another one for the books. On Saturday, Jan 18, we were at the Bovine Sex Club in Toronto once again for the Demagogo release party. Special thanks to Electric Magma & Sex Cat for sharing the stage with us and making the show everything it could be, to Joe Ze Lopez (@choppix) for the photos, and shout outs to Darryl, Doug and the staff at the Bovine for another banger night. Last but certainly not least - everyone who showed up and helped us make the night a memorable one. We'll be taking a bit of a break from headlining gigs in Toronto for the next bit. Demagogo Release Party: THIS SATURDAY!
Brace yourselves, Toronto. The Demagogo release party is happening on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Bovine Sex Club. We're teaming up with our old pals Electric Magma and Sex Cat - Plus, you'll have first dibs on the new album, fresh merch, and the joy of hearing us play a set packed with tracks from Demagogo. It's going to be loud, sweaty, and offensively delicious. Admission: $10. Are you kidding me?! Another testament to our commitment to completely ignoring the business end.
Demagogo Listening Party
On Saturday, January 11, Jason, JV & Paolo showed up at Full Beard Brewing with a couple of acoustic guitars, a box of records and a pocket full of GasX for the Demagogo Listening Party. The night was a resounding success. We were told that the attendance was the best the venue has ever seen for an event. The vibe was superb with a room full of old (and new) friends. Thanks again Timmins - We can't wait to see you again in April. Special thanks to one of our oldest friends Tyler Burns for sitting in with us on drums for the acoustic set, to Full Beard staff and owners for hosting us, John Emms for the great features before and after the event in the Timmins Daily Press, to Dylan and Q92 for the shout outs on the radio and to everyone who made their way out in the cold to hang out.

Eric managed to hit himself in the face with a drumstick during a video shoot for “Bourbon for the By-Law Officer”, unleashing a surprising amount of blood from his brow - The incident has since gone viral on Facebook and Instagram amassing 1.6 MILLION views at the time of this writing, and making Eric a celebrity for all the wrong reasons.
